Passing the Old Palace and the Guest Palace in the Gudaibiya area of Manama, the tour continues to AI Fatih Grand Mosque, the island's largest mosque that is a magnificent piece of architecture. We then proceed to the island of Muharraq to visit Shaikh Isa House, a fine example of 19th-century patrician residence. Next is the nearby Arad Fort which was built in the 15th century in typical period style. It was occupied by the Portuguese for 100 years and is also referred to as the Portuguese Fort. Then get ready to savour the finest Arabic sweets and pastries at a typical Arabic confectionery. The tour concludes with a visit to the House of Qur'an where you will see rare and precious collections of ancient Quranic manuscripts as well as Islamic works of art dating back to centuries.

We begin with handicrafts villages where you will see baskets, textiles and pottery being made the traditional way with skills passed on from generation to generation. A brief stop is made at the A'ali Burial Mounds, the oldest in the world dating back to prehistoric times.
